New Prayer Program: ‘THE THRONE OF GRACE’

One old prayer warrior has said that “prayer is when heaven and earth meet, and kiss.” Oswald J. Smith said, “When we work, we work, when we pray, God works.” As we step across the threshold of a new year, I’m happy to announce the birth of a new prayer initiative here at NewVision FM.

Prayer has been a strong emphasis from the beginning of this ministry over 30 years ago when we were a single radio station; WXML. I remember how our Founder, Dan Kayser, would direct us to pray over the “big prayer book” of collected prayer requests. Each of us in the room would lay our hands on the book, agreeing in prayer. Now, as the stewards of the 5 radio stations God has entrusted to us, we sense an even stronger need for prayer. And our Heavenly Father desires that His children come to Him, and to approach boldly, confidently! (Hebrews 10:19)

With this new year we are launching “The Throne of Grace”. I like to think of it as a “prayer cooperative”. Four times a day, Monday through Friday, our radio staff will invite listeners to join with us as we share prayer requests and praises with our radio family. As the body of Christ agrees together, boldly, for these shared requests, we can see great and mighty things accomplished, giving God all the praise!

Please join with us by sharing prayer requests and praise reports which we can share with the entire listening and praying family. We all know there is strength in numbers. When God’s people cooperate together, joining their prayers and praises into one powerful heaven-directed voice, great and mighty things will happen!

You can share prayer requests and praise reports in a multitude of ways….

  • Through our website at www.NewVision.FM
  • By including a note when sending a gift to the ministry
  • By sending an email to jbowlus@newvision.fm
  • By calling our telephone prayer line at (419) 294-2900
Ext: 306 and leaving a recorded message
  • By calling our office and sharing your request or praise report

Then, morning, afternoon, evening, and late night our radio staff will invite you to pray with them during a 3-minute “Throne of Grace” prayer program as the requests are shared. Following this, those collected prayer requests and praise reports will be taken to our weekly prayer time when staff and volunteers gather together to continue to seek God’s face on behalf of our listening family. Each Wednesday morning, at 10:00, you are more than welcome to come to the radio station offices in Upper Sandusky to join us for this time of prayer. We are looking for more prayer-volunteers!
