Joe Johnsick was born in Port Huron, Michigan in November of 1942. Joe had 12 years of education in a Roman Catholic school in his hometown, followed by 2 years at Port Huron Jr. College.
Joe married Diane Krenke in 1962, they had 3 boys together, Joe, Tim, and a 3rd son, David that passed away at birth.
Joe and Diane were married for 35 years, Diane passed into her eternal reward in 1996. Joe has 4 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
Joe married Toni (Heck) Howard of Carey, Ohio in April of 2004, enlarging his family to include 4 stepchildren. Toni and Joe moved from New Hampshire back to Carey, Ohio in April of 2023.
Joe retired after 35 rewarding years in retail management, with the JCPenney Company. He was the Findlay, Ohio store manager from May of 1985, until his retirement in 1998.
Joe received Jesus as his Lord and Savior in 1985, guided through the loving words by his son, Joe.
Joe has had a heart of service for many years, as witnessed by his involvement in community organizations, from United Way to Chamber of Commerce, to Rotary, to Jr. Achievement, and many more.
As a born-again Christian, Joe has sserved with the board of elders at Faith Assembly of God Church in Florida, Family Integrity Training ministry (teaching family life skills from a biblical perspective), New Hampshire Alliance of Churches (bringing churches together through the name of Jesus) Good Samaritan Network, (a Christian help ministry based on the Biblical Parable), Church Ambassador Network (a Christian Ministry focused on Biblical truths pertaining to the government sphere).
Joe is honored to be part of the New Vision FM Christian Radio team. He comes with a wealth of experience from the business world, and a mature servant’s heart as a son of the living God.
