Sharing And Giving Thanks

As I write this article, we are several weeks away from our Fall Sharathon and Thanksgiving, my favorite time of the year. A time of watching as the leaves change color and witnessing how change can be so beautiful. We can see butterflies in their natural beauty and be reminded that within transition, also comes hope and a future. We see farmers working the fields and we are reminded that with proper soil preparation, sowing and planting, then comes a harvest – from seeds previously sown into good soil…

Four years ago today, my husband, Chuck was rushed into emergency surgery and his right leg was amputated above the knee. He would be the first to share, had it not been for the grace and mercy of the Lord, that he would not be here. He would also tell you… had it not been for Christian Radio, his time spent at the nursing home would not have been as encouraging. He would be honored to share with you… had it not been for his friend, Dan Kayser speaking life into him that day, his foundation would have been pretty unstable during his transition. He would tell you that during this time, with God’s help, he learned to till up the hard places and experience God’s love, grace and mercy.

All these years later, as he praises along with the radio, he believes for harvest and is thankful for the seeds of life spoken over him. And he is thankful for Christian Radio. Lives are being changed through Christian Radio. And as you partner with us to introduce the person of Jesus to every person, on November 17-19, you can be certain that you are sowing into good soil. As you call in your faith promise during these three days, we look forward to hearing how Christian Radio has also impacted your life! Thank you in advance for your generosity, helping us to meet our financial goal of $225,000 and for helping to keep Christian Radio on the air. As you pray and ask God how He would have you partner with us, you can be sure that you will be sowing your financial seed into good soil. We look forward to hearing from you November 17-19. From our family to yours: Happy Thanksgiving!!
